To me nothing says "summer" like Tomato Pie and a bike ride to the Farmer's Market.
New recipe a la Southern Living with a made-from-scratch sour cream pastry crust. I think I might need crust-making lessons though. And yes, that is a Bybee pie plate.

SWEET!! I made some tomato pies last week too and substituted yogurt for the mayo....wasn't as sweet to be honest....may add greek yogurt next time. Please send your recipe!

ReplyDeleteI'm feeling very attached to all things Bybee that I have, too. Although I gave somebody a piece as a wedding gift last month. I hope they appreciated what a sacrifice it was! Ha ha!
